Check out Pastor Bruce's weekly "ponderings" about his messages every Sunday here.

This Sunday is the Second Sunday of Advent (the season of preparation for the coming of the Christ Child). The sermon will be about Zechariah, the second in the “Characters of Christmas” series. Zechariah was a priest, the father of John the Baptist, and an important member of Jesus’ extended family.

Amazing Scholar Adademy Preschool has begun! The enrollment this fall is 85 students, many of whom are returning from last year, with some others being families from previous years of the 38-year history of Mt. Assisi Academy Preschool. At the two days of Orientation, the last week of August, the families and children were welcomed and toured the facilities, and were very impressed with what it looked like and what the program will be.

It looks like it will be a great year! To find out more, click the link above to connect to the website of Amazing Scholar Academy Preschool.
